What’s Happening?!

I woke up this morning and my mom had the news on tv. The news anchorwoman said, “Today in downtown New Prague a giant plate of spaghetti fell from the sky. As of right now, the military is denying any involvement. —Wait, we have a breaking story coming in! Santa Claus was seen delivering gifts! …. In July? What is this craziness that’s happening?!!”

My mom rolled her eyes and changed the channel. “We interrupt this program to bring you breaking news from Egypt. It appears that mummies are leaving the pyramids and staggering around the local town!”

The camera cut to a mummy grabbing fruit from a stand and throwing it at nearby people! I laughed thinking this was a spoof show. In mid-snort, I realized I had a dream about these things happening last night. Were my dreams causing this? What if the news found out? Which of my dreams was going to happen next?
