Treasure Hoard

A relative of yours disappeared leaving you their home. Upon inspection, you discover that your relative was a hoarder. Floor to ceiling was filled with massive amounts of toys, books, furniture, knick knacks, garbage, and clothes. Here and there you see something of interest that warrants closer inspection.

Digging in, you take out all of the hoard; most of it going into the dumpster that was just delivered. A few bits of treasure get set aside. After several days of throwing things out, the house is ready to be cleaned. You had found some lovely area rugs and antique furniture that you wanted to keep.

You have a favorite room. One day, after going through yet another room, you hear your front door open.
